so the very back bed is salad & spinach
and the 1st half of the very front bed is edible flowers

also planted some poppies in the bulb bed to the left

now,
about that compost bin
went to visit it this morning
and someone had carefully dug a hole
and pulled out all the scraps
it certainly wasn't the worms
i am suspecting mr. squirrel
and NOT
the dreaded r-a-t
