today i went into the garden
instead of
(depending on how you look at it)
going into the studio

i started doing some fall cleanup,
separated bulbs that are no longer blooming,
excavated some persistent weeds
composted my tomato plants
and then
put my tomato cages on top of the corner of the fence
where oski got out AGAIN
(but this time he came back when i called him)
and
avoided him while he ate ANOTHER mouse
