a memory i don't have...
this was my father's building
i believe two of those windows were his
overlooking the park, just north of the guggenheim.

i don't even remember if i had seen the apartment before he died
he had just bought it
didn't even have a bed, just a mattress on the floor
and a man ray print that i now have
we were a bit on the outs at that point
