i had wondered why de Kooning was
so poorly represented
in moma's ab ex show last year
clearly,
because this show was in the works

though small
(so manageable)
quite a good show
in that it gave me a fresh perspective
on an artist's work
that i thought i knew fairly well

no snaps allowed of course
but to the right is my favorite piece in the show
