my mother had this wood box
filled with family photos
somehow it got moldy
and she told me to
throw the whole thing out!!!!

obviously
i am not going to do that
i opened it up outside
and let all the pix sit in the sun
then transferred them to new boxes

they are rather (disturbingly) musty
