i photographed a memorial
at an entrance to the park;
a young boy had been killed by a car

that memorial stayed in various forms for ages
the family must have planted a tree for him
now
just inside the park,
a new memorial decorates the fence
protecting a young tree

this is really poignant..............

spanish secondary roads are scattered with memorials for people who had died in car crashes..........they normally consist of a catholic cross made of stone, a picture and some plastic flowers..............if the flowers are fresh that means that it is the deceased birthday or the day when the crash happened.........
