this is colored paper pulp.
when you go to the studio for a workshop
there are usually 3-5 types of pulp available
to pull paper from;
most are cotton,
1-2 varieties of white
usually one vibrant color
and one black or grey
then there are 1-2 abaca
(a plant fiber that is much thinner but very strong)
1-2 whites and maybe a black

NB paper making is a wet & messy process
