re. sandwich guildhall courtroom is part of a museum and it is no more in use............

re. yes......................!!!! sandwich is like a film set...........a really beautiful medieval town..........so quiet..........so lovely.........still so british, so authentically british (the only 'alien' business is a costa coffee bar)............there is also an old quay but i had no time to take any pics there................

it is also a town for the very wealthy........where they usually have their second or even third home.....everything is so so so expensive..............

as we are in the language school in broadstais, visitor teachers are given the option to go on a free guided tour to visit sandwich.............i have gone on this trip twice......and it feels like travelling back in time..........
