powerful nature....................

i remember taking this picture,
my brother had called to say "happy new year"
but he seemed quite content to have a long conversation with G/
and not speak to me at all.

it wasn't until late in february
that i would find out
how angry he was with me
for a transgression i committed
that was perfectly innocent
but had been coloring our relationship for months
and would continue to do so for many more,
perhaps even for ever
