after an afternoon
in the BBG
photographing all sorts of beauty
these leaves
on Franklin Avenue
stopped my in my tracks,
literally!

there was no way to shoot
an attractive picture
and even begin to capture
the extraordinary newness of this moment
so this will have to suffice

it proves
that there are miracles everywhere
and
i am happy to have been able to catch this one
"in the wild"
especially after having spent hours
saturated with the sublime beauty
of the new season
in a perfect environment
