these were taken a few months ago
and we wondered who had done this?
a cat?
a racoon?

but the other day
i watched
through binoculars,
so too far away to take a picture)
what i believe was a red tailed hawk
savagely rip apart and eat a bird
there were feathers flying everywhere

so...
maybe a hawk...
