you cannot remember because this is a new addition to the house............it is a permanent and amazing installation by a japanese artist........you can leave the building by using the lift from the terrace to the ground floor or by walking down the stairway where the installation is displayed...........

r.e. umbrellas vs. parasols

it is very typical in andalusia to hang umbrellas/parasols in the main pedestrian streets of cities/towns so as to get some shadow and a little relief from extremely scorching sun................

actually, in the south we do not make a difference between parasols and umbrellas...........we use both to protect ourselves from rain and from sunrays..........

i am going to the beach to spend a couple of days there.........we have rented a house with direct access from the front garden to the beach.........something i do not think we will be using that much as it is cloudy and raining again...........
