this is a photo i made about 15yrs ago using an electron microscope. The sci/techie bit: it shows the extrusion of the second polar body at the completion of the second meiotic division of a mouse oocyte. I posted a photo like this on 11/19/03. non-csi/techie bit: it looks like a bit like the head of an alien monster?
