~Five Harbour Porpoise~

Location: West Coast BC Canada

These cute guys are the smallest members of the whale family. They are also timid and very hard to get close to in the wild. I took this several miles off shore on and unusually calm day for the open pacific the 5th porpoise is nearly submerged if you only counted four.

Their single blowhole grabs air during the 1/4 second that they are on the surface.

Is Fotolog down? Might as well be, you can get anywhere in a hurry. If you don't have much hair, I suggest you not surf there because you'll pull most of it out. :)
