Untitled 2005-Feb-27

Location: Philadelphia

This is my first attempt at a macro with the D70 and 18-70 lens. I'm pretty satisfied with the magnification of the flower but I suppose one day I'll have to get a real macro lens. This was a flower in a bouqet in my mom's study. I modified the levels and a little bit of contrast.

Soon I'll go out and find a 50mm 1.4 and a macro coupler and do the reverse lens technique but it looks like until then, this'll be as close as I can get. I hope you like it.

That should fix it. Thanks for the comments :). I was simply living with the black type in black box, not bothering to figure out how to fix it :d

Never mind, I liked also very much your comment. I know that at Winter for you is difficult to find "exciting flowers", but when comes the Spring will be a explotion of marvelous flowers and you can take a lot of nice and good photos.

i'm here nearly everyday and had never seen you !!
give your image a second turn at the " fotola last 10 " so you have the chance of a little more people commenting your picture ! sobreiro up here taught me how to : ( click edit, click settings under your thumb-image ,click submit form ) and it will jump back again for another ride.
