so often when my eyes well up, it is becuse i have encountered the truth in some form. it happens a lot with art: all of a sudden tears and i know i have seen something that is undeniable for me.

it can happen with the tiniest natural phenomena that brings on an awareness of the numinous.

and sometimes i hear myself say something and i am overwhelmed and i know i have discovered some little (or if i am lucky, large) truth, some key that will unlock a door if i take the time to look for it
