it's a tuesday not a monday
it's the 21st not the 22nd
but it's one year later.

last year i left work and we met
and you were actually there before me
and i couldn't stop crying
for days
and the question burned in my heart
and in my mind
would i really ever see you again?

so much has happened
so much has changed
this year i want to leave
i need a break
but i am sad again
and the question is till there.
