Good evening nina! if you take the ship as subject yes, but i think that you're more like the sea, full of energy, warm/cold, blue/green/grey, waving, hiding marvelous things very deep under that sometimes come to surface and flabbergasts us. So my suggestion is: don't take the ship's point of view. Choose the sea instead.
