of all my daily journals, this is the oldest
started 14 years ago this month, i am on my 52nd one.

they used to be almost completely written
and i wanted so much for there to be visual content as well,
but i mostly wrote.
sometimes i would use them a bit as a scrap book
but mostly i wrote
slowly i started drawing in them
but i hated my drawings and they felt self conscious
as if i was trying too hard to make something happen

now, even though this has been one of the most difficult and transformative periods in a long time,
i seem not to have written a word...

this is the last month or so of entries
i suppose when you want something enough...
you can make it happen.
