i like to mark things,
ritualize them,
today i just wasn't ready.

there was a time when i would have gone forward anyway
there was a time when i thought that if something came into my head
it was as good as done.

this sort of approach doesn't leave a whole lot of room for living,
for feeling,
for growth
and it certainly doesn't allow for discovery.

how nice not to be bound by that anymore.
