ok, 2" or more of oil paint,depending on how big the area...must be really heavy !!
so,scrape you must !
and when we start doing this scraping business with our lives...wow, it might turn to be a LOT heavier, so...scrape we must.
about the difficulty of discarding things, i do know what that means...i have the same problem !
