sifting through memories
and feelings
and coping mechanisms
and trying to figure out
how to unravel
parts of the fabric of my life
while keeping some of it intact
it feels as if i pull on the wrong thread
i will end up with either a huge knot
or nothing at all

and i am always pulling at threads
