in many ways,
this sense of resignation
this willingness to be nothing
is a healthier choice than others i have made in the past
i have a history of creating "forced rest" for myself when i am overwhelmed,
often in the harshest of ways:
driving myself to the point of collapse,
developing illnesses that require hospitalization
having fairly severe bike accidents
honestly this seems the lesser of the evils
and there is something healthy about knowing when enough is enough.
