the endless shedding
and not just of stuff
but of memories
and even of support systems

there needs to be a willingness
in order to truly release
i don't think anything could have prepared me
for how deep this process could go

all i can say is that i will be very light by the time i leave
and i am sure this will allow for some unexpected beauty to take root
