i did listen to myself
i knew i had to take my time
sleep if i needed to
&
get certain things taken care of
instead of rushing to the beach
as i usually do
even if it meant giving up some time there.

i found 3 pieces of paper, missing since i moved
2 which i was looking for
1 which i wasn't, but was an unpaid amex bill...
i watered the garden
(which smelled like a stable, i guess that was a lot of manure)
i ate breakfast and had coffee

just allowing myself to "be"
made all the difference in the world...
