(or: i see sky everywhere)

today was my first day painting in oil in what seems like forever

i have made a studio
under the grape arbor.

it is fairly protected from rain,
very protected from sun
and it gives me some privacy
(this is a back yard in crown heights after all)

it is also where my studio will eventually be built
and it feels really right
and it feels like me
and i finally feel as if i am here
