it is impossible to imagine
(even for me)
the range of my emotions today

from this morning
with tears pouring (literally) like water from a faucet
(except there was no shut off valve)
to being at the house
and not understanding one fucking thing about why i would even want to paint
to seeing these colors
and feeling the sense of calm
and watching as the whole world receded
like the tide going out


and then on the way to richard & peter's for dinner
(totally last minute)
seeing the 9/11 tribute lights which i adore
from brooklyn
and a (basically) full moon over the park...
well,
it's just a lot to take in
