in one way this took a year to get here
in another it took a week
(fact is stranger than fiction:
2nd class snail mail from hong kong can be quicker than email!)

i kind of don't believe it's the real deal;
i am sure it's a knock off,
it's from hong kong, remember
and i know that this particular version has been out of stock everywhere for a while,
so it showing up on ebay,
for very little money,
in multiples,
is a bit suspicious

but it is as soft and cuddly as i remember
not like one i ordered once
(that was legit)
but had to send back
because it just wasn't "it"

why all of this over a toy...
maybe because
it has so much resonance for me
