i spent a large part of today at home
in my home
it's filled with dust and dirt
that won't stop settling
from the basement demolition
but i got a strong internet connection
and was able to work
able to wait for the asbestos guy
(pray we don't need the men in the moon suits)
able to just be in my own space
it really did feel like being me
and i am going to have to try to hold on to that for the next 6 months

and i finally know what the kitchen needs to feel like,
