i am finding it hard to paint
not the activity of painting
the understanding of painting

i am having problems pushing boundaries,
seeing beyond the obvious
breaking the habits

i am having trouble holding on to "meaning"
i have little glimpses of it
when two colors meet
and it feels profound
but these are accidental discoveries
they don't feel driven by process
