when someone tells you something that rings completely true
you have to trust the totality of what they are saying
you can't just take the piece that is obvious to you
and disregard the rest
you must absorb the whole if it
even if some things are hard to comprehend
why else do we develop intimate relationships
if not so that we can have a mirror that we can believe
if not so that there is someone to lean on
when we falter
