i have to say
this is the first time it's happened
tho i've been expecting it for years

the first time
looking back at a year ago
really floors me

and i think it's because
so much of it was so unreal
almost "not lived" by me

i went away
on a trip that turned out to be grueling
got vertigo
and basically never recovered
never came back to myself

how long can this go on for?
