ahhhhh
i love when this happens...
last year's post has a reference to my next door neighbor marjorie
and today's post is a gift from her
(and my other side's post is about the stones)

we were both tending our gardens early this morning
and i complemented her on these flowers that i hadn't remembered seeing before
she doesn't know what they are
but the stalk is about 5 feet high
and very thick.

she asked me if i had a vase
and then lopped one off for me
so sweet
