just amazing how stuff happens
again i marvel at the cycle of a year
2 years ago was my last night in the loft
1 year ago my studio was fully under construction
today i am painting again

it seems,
that for me,
a big part of being able to go forward is feeling secure,
understanding that this is my home,
doing the little things that make it mine

until that time was right
everything felt empty
but making these little places
which have created space
helps me to feel connected
