so late
as usual
on my way to work
i see this baby bird
on the sidewalk

i think it's a pigeon
but you never actually see baby pigeons
so maybe it's not

anyway
i had to walk back 1/2 a block
to shoot it

because just yesterday
i saw a beautiful dead bird picture i had taken a year ago
and had thought
"i am due for another"
and here it was
so i couldn't refuse

the last dead bird picture
(upper right)
was so
kind of gross
it kind of didn't "do it"
for me

but i like this one
