it's such a strange thing some times
this revisiting of the year before
this linking back to where i was

it reminds me of a diary
that i had when i was a little girl
i am surprised that i don't still have it
that i haven't come across it
in the packing
and the unpacking

but anyway
it was red
and it had a lock
and it was a 5 year diary
each page was ruled in 5 sections
so that you would see year after year
what had occured
12 months earlier
