another thing that is different here
is my ability to see work outside of the studio
it used to be
that i carried it from the back to the front of the loft
and there was a wall
with 2 very strong nails
that i could hang virtually anything on
step back
and see it in another context

now,
it involves getting the painting up stairs,
through narrow hallways
and then
finding some place to put it

it's not only that
hanging space is extremely limited
or
that where there is hanging space,
the house isn't done;
it's still cluttered
it's also that i haven't even resolved how i am going to hang heavy paintings
of varying sizes
on plaster walls
and then make it possible
to change them out

so...
despite that this is a bit of a problem
i still needed to get something
out of the studio
to try to get a handle
on what i am doing...
