interesting today to see what happened last year and the year before
interesting in the sense of being able to look back
and from a distance
see the very, very slow steps
that brought me back to myself

so slow
that i never could have believed they were occurring
if i had faith
it was certainly of the "blind" variety
and i did have a lot of doubt
but
i suppose i didn't have a choice
and in a way
that's what matters to me most
