i am participating in an "exhibition" at the children's museum...
it's for a thanksgiving celebration
and involves submitting an image
that is about 10.5" square
that will be transferred to a melanin plate

the theme is "american core values"
NOT something i normally ponder in the studio
i thought to use pears as the basis because i find them so human
and in this context; multi-cultural
i figured the food aspect would speak to both the season & the holiday
and there is something about "freedom of speech" that comes in with the abstraction
i know it's a stretch
but i am hoping it will work
