i photograph the stamens of zucchini blossoms endlessly
(they are bitter and need to be removed
before cooking them;
i like to cut the blossoms up and mix them with pancake batter
they are delicios with maple syrup
and today i also added blackberries)

here they are in a strange bowl that has
a little ceramic house
in the middle

i was interrupted by what sounded like fireworks
but was actually a barrage of bullets
on my corner...
