there is a different reality here today
waking up at my mom's
i've slept downstairs on the couch
she isn't sleeping well these days;
she is up and down all night
with the radio on
so it's too hard to get any rest
if i sleep upstairs

but that isn't the only difference
i know our whole world is about to change
