i am trying but it seems so many things slip through the cracks
so in spite of the fact
that i am doing the best i can
i feel like a failure

the whole lesson in this little journey
is in learning to frame things up differently
to not fall back on habitual
(and negative) reactions
but it's hard to change
when you are exhausted
all the time
