i listened today
to a cd i made
in 2000
to accompany an open studio
that i had in the loft

it was a rather large group of paintings
and i called the "show"
the dreams of my childhood and what became of them
i haven't played the cd in (many) years
i was surprised how many of the songs
were about heroin
