thanksgiving at my mom's

it was half catered
and 1/2 prepared by me
a little compromise
but it was a delcious dinner
and so grateful to be able to spend it with my mom
and with jack
and for them to be able to spend time together
for the first time
in a long time

I don't know what is on the dishes but here in Cartagena we have a traditional salad which looks much like that.................

and it is just fresh romaine lettuce leaves, sections of sweet orange, extra virgin olive oil and salt............as simple as that..............and it is reeeeeally nice........................
