i always bought my mother lilacs on her birthday
i have already bought them for the house
so i would have them for her this year
and
we will have them at the memorial next saturday
but it is this plant,
in my garden
which is blooming for the first time in 7 years
is the one thing that makes me feel
that she is here with me
