i took a train up to hudson ny
my mom met me and we went for lunch
then we went to the columbia-greene animal shelter
and i picked up oski
she drove me back to the train
and i brought him home

when i took him out of the cat carrier
and put him down
the first thing g/ said was
"where are his legs?"
we had only held him
we had never seen him on the ground
and it seems his legs were a little short
which was further accentuated by his long fur
but it didn't detract from how adorable he was
