there was a time when i wondered
if i would ever adjust to having this line of sight
as i ride over the bridge
blocked

there was a time when i thought they might stop building
and there would still be sky

i have gotten accustomed to seeing it
and
they have not stopped building
but
there is this marvelous reflection
