i seem to have given up
on what we call
the "lower 40"
which is really the garden...
it is as over grown as ever
and until i see what our light looks like down there
AFTER the (inevitable) new building goes up on the corner
it seems futile to plan plantings...
so i just let it go wild
(though i did cut back the forsythia this year)
