i did call the dinner
and the wonderful people there
returned it to me via fedex
i made a donation to the local food bank
in the name of the diner & the woman who took care of the shipping

if you are ever on 95 in CT
stop at the Shoreline Diner
it is a fabulous place!!!

so good there are still good people everywhere............

no flowers but at least some p_n_g............!

r.e. i do remember what we had for dinner on the first day of your visit.................it was very easy for me to remember because, whenever we have guests and take them to that restaurant, we order a-la-cartagenera octopus, which is their speciality........it is grilled octopues served with vinegar, olive oil, salt and black pepper..............we also ordered calamari, which is their other speciality...............

and godfrey wanted to have 'cuddlefish', which was hilarious.............so we ordered some.......served with green sauce
(chopped fresh parsley, chopped garlic, olive oil and salt).......!!!

it was a superb dinner....................
