i was called to the botanic garden today,
probably many reasons...
it was most likely the last day of the beautiful indian summer that we have been having
and
i needed a reprieve from all the technical issues i have been faced with
and
my mother was calling...

imagine my surprise
to find one,
lone,
lilac bloom

my mother's spirit is truly there,
i am often given a sign of some sort
when i visit her
